Truly an engineering marvel @dubaiframe is worth visiting not to just to admire the city’s glittering skyline, but also to learn about Dubai’s past, present, and future 🏙
Resembling a photo frame and hence the name Dubai Frame 🖼
I love how they’ve designed it so that on the Sky deck level you’re able to see various ‘frames’ of Dubai through it. On one side the Old Dubai, and on the other the New Dubai with it’s sky high buildings.
Another interesting fact is that it was inspired by the golden ratio. Real impressive and the views were stunning 🤩
So thrilling to walk along the glass flooring of the viewing deck -that was definitely the kids’ favorite part!
There’s some fun interactive applications such as augmented reality activated screens; you can try to identify different buildings and landmarks, or observe buildings and landmarks in 3D. Plus other cool tech that provide insight into Dubai’s architecture, economy and infrastructure.
At the mezzanine level we walked through a fascinating display charting the city’s rapid transformation from a fishing village to a thriving modern metropolis.
Dubai Frame is easy to get to, located in Zabeel Park gate 4, open all year with tickets available at the gate or on their website.
We really enjoyed our visit, and it looks beautiful at night too, a must on your bucket list in Dubai!!
