First things first, this serum SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF is totally worth the hype.

This is just the product I have been looking for to get vitamin C added into my skincare routine.

It’s formulated with 10% L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), 2% Phloretin (derived from the bark of apple trees), and 0.5% Ferulic Acid.

Quick facts:
Phloretin - is a newly-discovered yet potent flavonoid with antioxidant and pigment-inhibiting properties (great for sun damage!) that is suitable for oily and acne-prone skin.
Ferulic acid - An antioxidant that boosts the effects of other antioxidants, hence why you’ll see it formulated in vitamin C products.

This powerful antioxidant serum prevents free radical damage, encourages cell renewal at the skin’s surface, aids in collagen production while maintaining clear pores and an even skin tone.

The major difference between this serum and the CE Ferulic, which was the one I originally wanted to purchase, is that instead of the Vitamin E, this one contains phloretin. Otherwise the active ingredients Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and ferulic acid are both still present. I was advised that this serum was more suitable for combination/oily skin than the CE Ferulic.

Initially I thought it was too pricey but you only need 4 drops per application so the bottle really does last. It comes with a dropper which makes it easy to apply. The only downside is that it has a ‘chemical’ kind of scent to it. But it’s made my skin feel incredibly soft, brighter and my age spots are noticeably lighter already.
My pores look smaller and less prone to clogging. So I still don't care for the smell, but I've gotten used to it because the product is so effective.
I always apply it on clean skin in the AM don’t forget it’s really important to wear sunscreen over it too ☀️🧴.
Oh and also be prepared for the high price tag! No pain no gain right? 😅😩
